2Happy Death Day 2U
Synopsis: A young woman learns that dying over and over again was surprisingly easier than the dangers that lie ahead.
Like Happy Death Day, this sequel is written and directed by filmmaker Christopher B. Landon. It takes place two years past the events of the original, with Jessica Rothe reprising the starring role of Tree Gelbman. Curious to find out more answers about the time-loop, Tree enters back into it once again, setting in motion an entirely new repeating-death day to unfold once again (and again and again).
If you enjoyed the first, you’ll want to see Happy Death Day 2U. From the same creative mind of Landon and several returning cast members, the film will very much feel like a true sequel. We can expect several unanswered questions left with us from the original to be answered in this follow-up.
