Synopsis: An evil doll terrorizes the young daughter of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
The next film in the Conjuring franchise to be released is going to be the third Annabelle movie. Last year, Annabelle: Creation, a prequel to the first film, was tremendously profitable at the box office. A sequel was quickly put into the works, with plans to bring the horrifying doll back to the big screen in 2019. After writing the first two films in the series in addition to the script for this new sequel, Gary Dauberman is making his directorial debut with this film.
With Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga reprising their roles as Ed and Lorraine Warren, the film takes place concurrently with the first Conjuring. It focuses on Annabelle’s status in a glass case in the Warrens’ museum, housed in a room with many different kinds of evil. While we wait for The Conjuring 3 to come out in 2020, the third Annabelle film should help hold us over.
