13 Fanboy Voorhees Films

Every new announcement for the upcoming meta-horror film 13 Fanboy only makes us more excited. The upcoming slasher movie from Deborah Voorhees will see an obsessive psychopath stalking the various stars of the Friday the 13th movies, including Deborah herself. The fanboy begins picking off the fan favorite actors and actresses from the series one by one, and anyone who’s appeared in any of the Friday the 13th films are potential victims… and that includes those who’ve played Jason Voorhees!

In addition to the talented names added to the cast, the crew continues to grow stronger as well. Special effects artist Nora Hewitt has officially been added to the project, providing all practical FX for the gore in the film. Recommended by Tom Savini himself, Hewitt will be recognized by fans of Syfy’s Face Off as the winner of Season 9. This is fantastic news for those horror fans out there growing tired of CGI, longing for the glory days of horror when every movie featured practical FX.

Jason actors Kane Hodder and C.J. Graham have both been announced to appear as themselves in the film. Joining them in the confirmed cast are Friday the 13th series alumni Judie Aronson, Jennifer Banko, Thom Mathews, Tracie Savage, Ron Sloan, Carol Locatell, Vincente DiSanti, and Andrew Leighty. Haley Greenbauer also stars. There may be more fan favorites yet to be announced, so be sure to follow the film on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to keep updated with 13 Fanboy‘s progress.

The 13 Fanboy Indiegogo campaign is still active, and the film is growing closer towards hitting its goal. There’s still time to get in on the sweet perks being offered in the campaign, which includes having your name featured in the credits for as little as $13. You can find out more info and help back the film by heading on over to Indiegogo!
