Every major horror fan loves Kane Hodder. After portraying Jason Voorhees in four separate films in the Friday the 13th franchise, Hodder forever became a genre fan favorite. In addition to his time as Jason, Hodder has killed it in many other horror films as well, sometimes playing a victim but usually portraying an antagonist. The horror star will soon be adding another horror movie to his résumé, as Hodder is reported to be hard at work shooting for a part in the upcoming movie Knifecorp.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Knifecorp tells a story where “High School senior Wally Banks is selling knives door to door, and gets trapped in a man’s house with a dark secret and must escape before it’s too late.” Of course, Hodder is the man with the dark secret in question, playing a character named Angus Finn. Joining Hodder in the cast is fellow horror star Felissa Rose, who’s known for playing Angela in the original Sleepaway Camp.
This is just one of many movies we can expect to see Hodder show up in the near future. A quick peek at his IMDb page reveals a long list of 2019 projects with his name attached. He might be many years removed from last portraying Jason Voorhees, but Hodder has proven to be a mainstay in the genre well past the role that made him famous. The iconic actor’s presence is always a welcome sight to see, so we’ll definitely be keeping an eye out for Knifecorp‘s official release.
There’s no trailer or release date yet for Knifecorp, but poster art for Knifecorp has also been released.
