Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series is coming to Netflix to continue the mockumentary series, and the show now has a trailer and official release date. The show will see Bubbles, Ricky, Julian, and the other fan favorites from the Canadian trailer park all back for more misadventures, picking up after the events of Season 12 of the main show. The series even brings back Mr. Lahey, whose actor John Dunsworth’s demise had indefinitely postponed production on the live-action show.
Netflix has dated Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series to release on March 31. As that’s just days away, we’ll all be able to head back into the park sooner than you may have thought. But as the titular boys are soon to learn, things aren’t going to change too much for them now that they’re all animated. Trying to outrun the police as if they’re on The Dukes of Hazzard isn’t going to end as well for them as it might on any other cartoon. But even if the characters can bleed and feel pain, what’s clear from the trailer is that the show is going to be just as hilarious animated as it has been two decades.
It’s going to be an adjustment for some to switch into an animated version of the show after so many years. But the spirit and charm of the show is still very much there, and can be felt within seconds of watching. You can watch for yourself in the new trailer below.
“Trailer Park Boys – The Animated Series hits Netflix March 31! The suit dummies won’t let us f**king swear on the f**king trailer, but tune in March 31 when we’ll swear, drink, get high and fire guns as much as we f**king like… Come f**king join us!!”
