Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures has released an intense new trailer for their upcoming shark survival film, 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. As the title suggests, unlike 2017’s 47 Meters Down, there is no shark cage this time around, but a deadly underwater, shark-infested maze.

Synopsis: ‘47 Meters Down: Uncaged’ follows four teen girls diving in a ruined underwater city who quickly find themselves in a watery hell as their fun outing turns into heart-stopping fear when they learn they are not alone in the submerged caves. As they swim deeper into the claustrophobic labyrinth of caves they enter the territory of the deadliest shark species in the ocean.
47 Meters Down: Uncaged stars Sistine Rose Stallone, Brec Bassinger, John Corbett, Nia Long, Corinne Foxx, Sophie Nélisse, Brianne Tju, Davi Santos, and Khylin Rhambo. Director Johannes Roberts is back at the helm, having previously directed the first installment as well as last year’s The Strangers: Prey at Night.

‘47 Meters Down’ (2017) follows two sisters (Claire Holt and Mandy Moore) vacationing in Mexico who are trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean. With less than an hour of oxygen left and great white sharks circling nearby, they must fight to survive.The film was released in the United States on June 16, 2017 from Entertainment Studios Motion Pictures.
