‘Halloween’ Actor Jibrail Nantambu Says Julian Will Return

Halloween 2018

One of the brightest spots of David Gordon Green’s Halloween sequel from last year is the performance of child actor Jibrail Nantambu as Julian. Fortunately, while Michael Myers does break into the boy’s house to murder his babysitter and her boyfriend,  Julian manages to survive. Now, it appears we’ll be seeing more of him in the upcoming sequels Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

Speaking with Halloween Daily News, Nantambu says Julian will definitely be back in the upcoming movies. And – SPOILER ALERT – he also promises the boy will always survive Michael’s wrath. “I will be in the next movies,” Nantambu tells the publication. When then asked if he thinks Julian may be killed in the sequels, Nantambu only had this to say: “I will not die.”

When Halloween debuted in theaters last year, it quickly became the highest-grossing slasher movie of all time. By ignoring every previous sequel in the series, the door was opened for Jamie Lee Curtis to return as Laurie Strode to face Michael Myers once again. As a hit with fans and at the box office, it was merely a matter of time before Blumhouse went to work on a sequel. It has since been confirmed the studio has ordered two upcoming sequels to release over the next two Halloween seasons.

Along with Julian, it was also recently confirmed another famous child from the franchise will be returning in Halloween Kills. Little Tommy Doyle, who was one of the two children babysat in the original 1978 movie, will be portrayed by Anthony Michael Hall in the upcoming sequel. Could this mean Lindsey Wallace will be back as well?

Halloween Kills will release in theaters everywhere on Oct. 16, 2020. The third installment of the new trilogy will then follow the next year when Halloween Ends releases on Oct. 15, 2021.
