Update (August 2023): Friday the 13th Parts 1-8 are no longer available on Crackle. The 2009 reboot is available to stream for free on Tubi.
Paramount’s original eight Friday the 13th films are all free to watch right now on Crackle. Beginning with the original movie from 1980, the next seven sequels in the popular horror franchise are included: Friday the 13th Part II, Part 3, The Final Chapter, A New Beginning, Jason Lives, The New Blood, and Jason Takes Manhattan. If these films are not easily accessible to you, or if you just want to take this as an excuse to revisit some or all of the Paramount classics, Crackle now has us covered.
Crackle is a free ad-supported streaming service available for the United States and Australia, and no sign-up is required to watch their selection of movies or television shows. You can access it anytime on the internet by going to Crackle.com, or you can use the app on various devices like smartphones, tablets, Xbox One, and PS4. Wherever you choose to use Crackle, just search for Friday the 13th to begin your marathon of the original Paramount timeline.
While I may be partial to a few films in the series, most of all, I find them all to be pretty entertaining. Still, when in doubt, I always fall back to the fifth installment of the series, A New Beginning. With the most interesting set of characters, highly amusing death scenes, and nonstop quotable lines from start to finish, A New Beginning is the most fun one of the bunch. Of course, if I’m in a darker mood, I might go with something like The Final Chapter or The New Blood. In my opinion, you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
To watch them now, you can find the first eight Friday the 13th movies currently streaming on Crackle.com and on the Crackle app.
