‘They Live’ Roddy Piper Figure Revealed by NECA

Last year, NECA gave us two official They Live action figures of a couple of the aliens from the classic John Carpenter movie, and now we have an 8-inch plastic hero to take them on. Revealed by NECA at Toy Fair 2020, an all-new figure of John Nada, played by WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in the film, is next in line from They Live to get NECA’s clothed action figure treatment. The result is one of the greatest Roddy Piper figures we’ve ever seen, and considering his wrestling career, there have certainly been many.

The John Nada figure has Piper looking exactly as he does in one of the most iconic moments from They Live, when the character quips about his desire to kick ass and his lack of bubblegum. He also comes with a shotgun and sunglasses, as no John Nada figure set would be complete without them. It’s really a beautiful figure that will go together perfectly with the previously-released aliens. At this point, I’m just hoping Keith David will be getting his own They Live action figure from NECA next.
