New York Toy Fair may be over, but now we have hundreds of awesome new toys to look forward to emptying our wallets for. Just a month after they took over the London Toy Fair, Funko brought their A-game to New York and with them, a whole lot of announcements. Here are just some of the best geeky reveals from the weekend.
Movies & TV
First up, Funko announced more Pop! figures from The Office, which include new molds of Dwight and Michael Scott, as well as brand new characters like Stanley, Meredith, and Kelly.
A new line for Amazon’s The Boys will see Homelander, Starlight, Billy Butcher, Hughie, A-Train, Translucent, and Queen Maeve all getting their own figures. Cobra Kai is also feeling the Funko love with Pop! figures of Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso.

In celebration of Bugs Bunny’s 80th anniversary, a line of Bugs Pop! figures will be coming out, including Salsa Bugs, Super Bugs, Bugs in Show Outfit, and a Bugs Bunny (diamond glitter exclusive). Also making us feel nostalgic is a Flintstone’s Pop! Home featuring Fred Flinstone with his Bedrock house.

The new Disney movie Soul will be getting its own line of pops including Joe, Soul Joe, Soul 22, and Soul 22 (grinning variant). Additionally, Disney will be bringing more Villains to the line, including Maleficent on her throne and Hades on his throne.

The Harry Potter line will be adding even more figures with an 18” Harry Potter and a Harry Potter/Voldemort dueling Pop! Moment. Fans of Back To The Future will have a lot to add to their collection as Biff Tannen, Doc with Helmet, Doc (2015), Marty in his Puffy Vest, Marty McFly (1955), and Marty in his Future Outfit, and last but not least a Pop! Town of Doc with the Clock Tower is coming later this year.

Last but not least in movies and TV, a number of new properties will be getting Pop! lines including Fight Club, Animal House, The Mighty Ducks, Stripes, and Smokey and the Bandit.

Comics
Also in comic-related Funko news, Archie Comics will be getting a new line with Archie, Jughead, Betty, and Veronica.

Anime
Funko brought a lot to the anime line this past weekend. My personal favorite are the additions to the My Hero Academia Pop! figures. The new wave includes Deku (School Uniform), Endeavor (with a glow in the dark variant exclusive to Amazon), Mina Ashido (with a metallic variant exclusive to GameStop), Tsuyu (invisible variant exclusive to Hot Topic), Kai Chisaki (Overhaul), Kurogiri, Best Jeanist, Himiko Toga, Shigaraki, Midnight (exclusive to Galactic Toys), as well as a Deku POP! Town (with UA High building), and a 10” All-Might.

Funko also announced a handful of new Pokemon vinyl to add to the line, like Angry Pikachu, Ratata, Cubone, Growlithe and a 10” variant of Mewtwo exclusive to Target.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an anime announcement without some Dragon Ball. The new Dragon Ball Super announcement includes: Hercule (with glow in the dark variant), Super Saiyan Caulifla (with glow in the dark chase), Super Saiyan Kale (with a Chalice Collectibles exclusive, and glow in the dark variant exclusive to BoxLunch), Future Mai, Gohan (with metallic variant exclusive to GameStop), Vegeta, Whis (glow in the dark exclusive), a Super Saiyan Kale and Caulifla 2-pack (exclusive to FUNimation), and a Beerus (chrome variant exclusive to FUNimation).

Lastly in the anime department, a new wave for Yu-Gi-Oh was announced, featuring 2/3 Egyptian Gods, as well as a brand new Inuyasha line and a new Saint Seya line.

That was just a sliver of what was announced from Funko this past weekend at New York Toy Fair 2020. What are you looking forward to picking up? Let us know!
