Dutch is soon returning to the jungle as Arnold Schwarzenegger is heading to the video gameĀ Predator: Hunting GroundsĀ as a playable character this month. An asymmetrical multiplayer game, Predator: Hunting Grounds lets one player control the Predator while four others play as mercenaries looking to capture and kill the Predator… or die trying.

Fans of the franchise will of course know that Schwarzenegger starred as Dutch in the originalĀ Predator movie, and now, gamers can look forward to playing as Dutch when the fan favorite character joins the game later this month.

From Sony:

In order to make Predator: Hunting Grounds the game we envisioned it to be, it had to include Dutchā€™s story and bringing him back into the universe. We have created two different items for the community in order to do this. The first is a free update, available for all players who own the game. Players will be able to learn where Dutch has been all these years and hear his story in his own words through a series of voice tapes that you earn as you level up.

The second is a Paid DLC pack where you can play as Dutch and get early access to the QR5 ā€œHammerheadā€ Rifle and Dutchā€™s Knife! (available free for all players later in June) Getting the future Dutch just right was so exciting for the entire team. Creating the details, working with our partners to make certain everything fit together perfectly in the universe, and of course working with the legend himself has been a dream come true.

Predator: Hunting Grounds is available to play on Windows and PlayStation 4, and the first free update and paid DLC featuring Dutch will be available on May 26. According to the developers, Dutch is just the first ofĀ many surprises in store for Predator fans to come down the line. Does this mean we’ll be getting playable versions of Carl Weathers and Jesse “The Body” Ventura next? Let’s hope so. You can watch the gameplay trailer for the game below, along with a sneak peek image of the Dutch DLC.
