‘Suicide Squad’ Game Announced by Rocksteady Studios

Rocksteady Studios - Suicide Squad Game

Rocksteady Studios has officially announced their Suicide Squad game, teasing the title with a peculiar poster released online. The photo features an image of Superman with the Suicide Squad logo forming crosshairs on the superhero’s head, perhaps suggesting the Man of Steel will play a big part in the upcoming game’s story. As of now, we can only speculate, as no other details have been released.

Something else that remains unclear concerns which platforms this title is in development for, as Rocksteady Studios has not even revealed that information at this time. Clearly, they’re only giving us just enough to check out DC FanDome to find out more, along with other major news across the entertainment industry for other DC projects. What has been said is that Rocksteady will divulge more information about the Suicide Squad game on Aug. 22 for DC FanDome.

What should make gamers excited about the Suicide Squad game is that Rocksteady Studios has proven themselves capable with DC-based video games. They’re the studio behind the hit game Batman: Arkham Asylum along with its acclaimed sequels Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s not only going to be interesting to play as more villainous characters in Suicide Squad, but it will also be fun to see the inclusion of Superman and potentially other DC superheroes in the game as well.

Rocksteady Studios has also launched the official account for Suicide Squad on Twitter, so you can follow it if you want to keep up with its updates. You can also look forward to hearing more about the game on Aug. 22 straight from DC FanDome, and you can get a better look at the teaser image for the upcoming game below.
