Staying awake was the key to survival in A Nightmare on Elm Street, and now franchise star Robert Englund is appropriately getting his own signature brew. Taking to Twitter, the Freddy Krueger actor revealed that he is the next artist to collaborate with Dead Sled Coffee to develop a new brew for the company. More details are yet to be revealed.
“Looks like the folks @DeadSledCoffee are going to let me have my own signature brew,” Endlung wrote on Twitter. “Hmmm maybe a pinch of Price, a bit of Bela, a vial of Vampira. Nah, gonna make it my own! Strong enough to keep you awake. Stay tuned!”

Mike Thorwart of Dead Sled Coffee also spoke about the collaboration on Instagram. “As a fan, it’s a like a dream come true for me. A Nightmare on Elm Street is far and away my favorite horror franchise, and Freddy Krueger, in my opinion is the greatest horror villain of all time,” Thorwart says. “As a professional, and a co-owner of Dead Sled Coffee it’s an absolute honor and privilege to work with someone like Robert.”
Of course, we all know Englund very well for portraying Freddy Krueger, a dream demon who preys on the teenagers of Elm Street by attacking them in their dreams. Next to Sta-Awake pills, the best method of defense is to drink coffee, which we see final girl Nancy Thompson do a lot of in the film.
