Waxwork Records has officially launched their line of new Spinatures for their Universal Horror Line. Beginning with Frankenstein, the first Spinature is now on sale on the official website with more classic horror characters on the way soon. Highly detailed and featuring the likeness of Frankenstein’s monster, the Spinature mini-bust is fitted with a hole in the base to easily attach to the spindle of your turntable. You can then watch as the monster spins around endlessly as you jam to your favorite tunes.

“Waxwork is proud to present FRANKENSTEIN, from their Universal Horror Line, as their
very first Spinature. This official Universal Monster product was designed and produced
by Waxwork and features the iconic monster from the landmark 1931 horror film with the
likeness of legendary actor Boris Karloff. Many more official Universal Monster
Spinatures are to come Fall 2020 and throughout the 2020 Holiday season including The
Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Mummy, The Phantom of the Opera, The Creature
From The Black Lagoon, The Wolfman, and The Invisible Man!”
Waxwork also notes that the figures can be displayed as mini-busts and don’t necessarily need to spin on records, so any fan of classic horror with no turntable can still pick one of these little guys up. Of course, Waxwork also worked closely with the appropriate studios and rights holders to ensure that each character’s likeness is officially approved. “Collectors of quality toys and figures may also enjoy SPINATURES by proudly displaying their favorite characters virtually anywhere,” the company stated.
The Frankenstein Spinature is available to order now from Waxwork Records. Other characters are listed on the website as “coming soon,” although you can take a look at their familiar silhouettes to see who else is soon to arrive.
