Reebok is releasing the perfect shoes to go with your plain brown jumpsuit, proton pack, and ghost traps. On Halloween, they’ll release the Ghost Smashers, a Ghostbusters-themed take on their previously limited Alien Stompers silhouette from 4/26, and a new version of their Classic Leathers. The Ghost Smashers shoe references the proton pack, adding a green pump to the back with red and blue “wires” attaching to sides of the shoe. The new take on the Classic Leather perfectly matches the brown signature Ghostbuster jumpsuits, with “Don’t Cross the Streams” in graffiti-style art on the sole. Both shoes will include the iconic Ghostbusters logo on the tongues and be given a pre-worn finish to give them that vintage look.
The shoes will also come in limited edition ’80’s Pump It Up Packaging (re-branded as Bust It Up), with the slogans “Less Talk, More Busting,” and “This Is Where It Ends” on the sides. Reebok will shut down the power grid and release the shoes on October 31st, 2020. What Reebok has here is what they refer to as a focused, non-terminal, repeating phantasm or a class-five full-roaming vapor. A real nasty one, too. They’d usually ask for four big ones, but they’re having a special that week and the Ghost Smashers will be just $150 USD and the Classic Leathers will be $100!
Both pairs of shoes will go on sale on Oct. 31 at Reebok.com.
