In Resident Evil RE:Verse, players can go head-to-head with 4-6 other players in survival horror revenge matches. Players will be able to play as numerous iconic characters from the video game franchise, and utilize powerful bioweapons to give them the edge over their opponents. In 5-minute deathmatches, the player with the most kills wins, using weapons and items found to take down even the biggest of enemies.
RE:Verse will be available on PlayStation 4 (playable on PlayStation 5), Xbox One (playable on Xbox Series X/S), and PC.
While not much is known yet about the DLC for Resident Evil Village, it is definitely on the way. It was confirmed with a vague message:
“By popular demand, development has just started on additional DLC for Resident Evil Village. More info later.”
Not a lot of info, but exciting nonetheless. While RE:Verse doesn’t have a specific date, you can expect to battle it out in online RE mayhem next month.
