Warner Bros. Games and DC have announced that the Batman: Arkham Trilogy will be released for the Nintendo Switch this fall. Turn Me Up Games is working on a Switch version of the Rocksteady Studios title featuring Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Knight, and all released DLC.
Batman: Arkham Asylum was released in 2009 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC to critical acclaim. Within two years, the game sold over four million copies, received multiple Game of the Year honors, and revolutionized the game and fan expectations for comic book game adaptations.
As the title suggests, the game takes place in Arkham Asylum, Gotham’s infamous mental institution that doubles as a prison for the criminally insane. Players assume the role of The Dark Knight (voiced by Kevin Conroy), confronting the city’s most dangerous villains, including The Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill), Scarecrow (voiced by Dino Andrade), Poison Ivy (voiced by Tasia Valenza) Harley Quinn (voiced by Arleen Sorkin), and others. Explore the grounds using some of Batman’s iconic technology and keen detective skills.

Batman: Arkham City was published in 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC and quickly gained widespread acclaim. Due to the high expectations of fans, nearly six million copies were sold within a year. The game is set in Arkham City almost two years after the events in Arkham Asylum. It features a massive map, enough familiar enemies to keep Batman occupied, and new playable characters like Catwoman (voiced by Grey DeLisle).
In 2015, Batman: Arkham Knight was released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was another critical and financial success for Rocksteady Studios and DC, selling over 5 million copies in just a few months. It takes place nine months after the shocking finale of Arkham City, as Gotham’s villains take control of the city. Arkham Knight includes a vast open map of Gotham to explore, as well as a drivable Batmobile outfitted with Bat-tech.
