FPS Survival Horror 'Beneath' Reveals New Gameplay Trailer

Game studio Camel 101 has unveiled a new gameplay trailer for its first-person shooter survival horror game, Beneath. The trailer was shown at ZlimBratSki’s Winter FPS Showcase on Saturday, which celebrated the best in current and upcoming shooters.

Camel 101, known for their previous games such as Those Who Remain, Syndrome, Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons, and Gemini Wars, originally announced Beneath in February 2023. The game invites players to brave the abyssal depths in a gripping cosmic horror action-adventure.

As players confront grotesque creatures, unravel a chilling narrative, and wrestle with their own crumbling sanity, they’ll be drawn into a desperate fight against an ancient, unknowable evil. The gameplay trailer highlights combat sequences, offering a glimpse of the intense action and variety of battles awaiting players.

Official synopsis: ‘Beneath’ is a heart-pounding first-person action-horror adventure that takes place in the mysterious depths of the ocean. You play as veteran deep-sea diver Noah Quinn, who must escape a treacherous underwater world filled with terrors beyond imagining.

Armed with weapons and wits, Noah Quinn knows he will have to face the horror if he has any chance of escape. And some nightmares are beyond bullets. Quinn’s mental state is on the brink of collapse, and he must avoid succumbing to madness if he ever hopes to reach the surface again.
