For the horror fans collecting Pop! figures, it looks like Funko has done it again. While the antagonists from most of our favorite spooky films like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street have had many Funko Pop! figures, we’ve gone this whole time without a single one for Hocus Pocus. That travesty will change this Halloween season, however, as all three Sanderson sisters are finally joining the line.
A family-friendly spooky film, Hocus Pocus was released all the way back in 1993. Those of us who were children at the time remember it fondly as one of our first horror films. It stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary Sanderson – three medieval witches resurrected in the present day. The film holds up surprisingly well, and is regularly played every year during the season as a cult favorite.
Now, the Sanderson sisters will each be getting their very own Funko Pop! figures. These will be exclusively sold at Spirit Halloween this October, but you can pre-order them now on the official website. Take a look at them below!
The Pop! figures are up for pre-order now, and are expected to ship at the end of September. They will also be sold at Spirit Halloween locations, once the seasonal holiday store opens its doors this fall. Given the interest these things are already generating, you might want to grab them quick while you have an opportunity to do so.
Hocus Pocus celebrates is 25th anniversary on July 16th.
