Earlier this year, Respawn Entertainment, a studio of Electronic Arts, broke the news of a massive new Star Wars video game in development, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. At E3 2019, we got a more in-depth look at the stunning gameplay for the upcoming game, which lets players use lightsaber combat and Force powers to defeat enemies.

In the game, players take on the role of Cal Kestis (Cameron Monaghan, Gotham), a young Padawan and survivor of Order 66, and work to rebuild the Jedi Order while completing Cal’s training and evading the Empire. Take full advantage of his Jedi training and powerful Force abilities, which is aided by the game’s lightsaber combat system, while being pursued by the special and dangerous Imperial forces, the Second Sister and Purge Troopers. Players will visit new locations, including the planet Bracca, and meet new characters, creatures, and droids while also encountering familiar Star Wars locations, weapons, gear, and enemies. Accompanying Cal is his faithful droid BD-1.
Alng with the announcement news in April, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will not be a multiplayer game, instead featuring a story-driven, single-player narrative. The game will also not have any microtransactions.
The game is available now for pre-order, with the Standard Edition offering unique cosmetic equipment for Cal’s lightsaber and droid companion. The Deluxe Edition comes with a “Director’s Cut” suite of behind-the-scenes features and content as well as additional unique cosmetic equipment. The game is expected to release on November 15th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
