By the power of Greyskull, He-Man is back!

The Metro Newspaper in the UK is reporting that classic 1980’s animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, will debut its first new episode in over 3 decades this Wednesday, as part of the San Diego Comic Con.

For those of you not cool enough to remember, He-Man was the tale of a greased up muscle man who battled the forces of evil in his underpants, all while riding a green tiger. He was also in love with his sister who lived in another dimension.

To add to the awesome nostalgia Super7, the team behind the film, have managed to score Alan Oppenheimer – the original voice of Skeletor – to reprise his role. Not bad for an 86-year-old!

So far little is known about the plot of the feature length reboot, but fans are hoping it will lead to a new series. You can check out the trailer for ‘The Curse of the Three Terrors’ below.

  1. Gives me flashbacks to being 20 yrs old & foolishly agreeing to put my 4 yr old cousin’s Castle Grayskull Christmas gift together. I think I spent more time asking him to bring pieces back to me than I did actually putting it together. Good times…good times. ?
