Considered by many to be one of the greatest movie trilogies of all time, The Lord of the Rings’ popularity continues to grow. To celebrate this 25th anniversary, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring will be performed live in concert, accompanied by a live orchestra and a massive choir.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring comes to Toronto’s Meridian Hall for three performances on Friday, January 23, at 7:30 pm and Saturday, January 24, at 1 pm and 7:30 pm. It is an event fans won’t want to miss. The FILMharmonique Orchestra will be performing Howard Shore’s Academy Award-winning score, accompanied by the Amadeus Choir and Toronto Children’s Chorus.
Over 250 musicians and singers will perform to bring this iconic film to life, helping fans relive the adventure in Middle-earth and enjoy the journey of The Fellowship of the Ring.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is the first of three films in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Fate places the all-powerful One Ring in the hands of a young Hobbit named Frodo Baggins (Elijah Wood), who, accompanied by a Fellowship of men, dwarves, Hobbits, and elves, is tasked with carrying the ring to Mount Doom, where only there can it be destroyed forever.
