Last week, fans of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs received the shocking news that Friday night’s episode would be the series finale. Following the final episode, the actual trailer featured on the show has already been put up for sale.

Information about the trailer’s sale was posted on the website BuyJoeBobsTrailer.com. However, the actual sale is taking place on eBay, where bids have already begun. As of this writing, the bidding is currently at $10,200. The auction is set to end on the morning of this Saturday, Mar. 13.

It’s noted that the trailer is being sold “as-is” by The Last Drive-In director Austin Jennings. Notably, the previous owner of the trailer had it refinished in 2017, though all of the electrical components are still functional. It will come with all of the modifications that were made specifically for the Shudder series. Also included are some props from The Last Drive-In, including a pair of screen-used lawn chairs and the screen-used marquee sign with changeable lettering.

The website states, “This retro, canary-yellow 1966 Shasta Airflyte Trailer has appeared in ALL seven seasons of THE LAST DRIVE-IN WITH JOE BOB BRIGGS. From his trailer-side lawn-chair throne, the world’s greatest drive-in movie host has rattled off countless dead bodies, interviewed dozens of horror luminaries, and taken us to school about genre-film history. This now-iconic trailer is the centerpiece to the show’s exterior set and also an echo of the set designs featured in Monstervision and Drive-In Theater.”

While The Last Drive-In is over, there are still four all-new specials set to drop over the course of 2026. These specials will feature a brand new set, which is why the trailer that’s been used all along is already up for sale now. The first of the specials, Joe Bob’s Wicked Witchy Wingding, will debut live on Friday, Apr. 24, at 9pm ET.

“Joe Bob Briggs has been a Shudder staple since 2018, when his original 13-movie marathon ‘broke the internet,’” Shudder’s EVP of Linear and Streaming Products, Courtney Thomasma, said in a statement. “Since then, he and Darcy the Mail Girl have continued to delight Shudder fans with double features and seasonal specials tailored to horror buffs and cinephiles alike, always offering plenty of surprises. We look forward to sharing these four new specials with Drive-In Mutants everywhere.”
