Jurassic World 2 – the much anticipated sequel to 2015’s Jurassic World – is set to start filming in February 2017 in Hawaii.
Although the Jurassic World 2 shooting location sounds perfect for a dino blockbuster, it seems that the actual film will be set somewhere entirely different. Writer Colin Trevorrow spoke to Wired Magazine and said “[It will not be] just a bunch of dinosaurs chasing people on an island, that’ll get old real fast. […] What if there are 15 different entities around the world who can make a dinosaur?”
That certainly gives fans a bit to think about, especially since the possibility of other dinosaur theme parks weren’t really discussed in the first film. Jurassic World 2, which has the working title Ancient Futures, is set to for theatrical release in Summer 2018. Let us know what, or who, you’d like to see in the upcoming film!
