Horror-Fix has announced the launch of a Kickstarter campaign for the expandable horror themed tabletop game Horror Boards.
“We can’t believe this type of game has never been done before,” says Ash Hamilton, game designer and owner of Horror-Fix.com. “This Kickstarter campaign, to raise $15,000, will help us manufacture our units and finalize our packaging components so Horror Boards can arrive in homes across the world as soon as possible.”
The game takes the horror genre events from the screen to tabletop gaming by combining kills, searching for weapons, fighting against the final victim and plot twists. Horror archetypes battle against each other and can also team up to take out as many victims as possible at once. It answers the age-old question of, “Who would win in a horror movie battle royale?”
“We’ve put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into the making of this game. We think everyone who gets their hands on it will love it as much as we do!” says Chanell Hamilton, project manager. Horror Boards is being produced by Horror-Fix, which shares news and reviews of independent horror movies, books, and games. They have promoted many products of the independent horror genre, and now they are stepping out from behind the curtain, introducing Horror Boards directly to consumers. It is more than a board game to Horror-Fix; it is their love-child 6 years in the making.
