Animal Among Us has unleashed the first original poster and select stills from the upcoming horror film. Written by Jonathan Murphy, directed by John Woodruff and produced by the duo, it is their first project under newly formed Hollow Tree Productions.
A throwback in homage to the classic thrillers with a modern twist sure to stand as a point of evolution within the genre, the film stars Christian Oliver (The Good German, Speed Racer), Larisa Oleynik (10 Things I Hate About You), Christine Donlon (Entourage), former M.M.A / U.F.C World Champion Don Frye, Erin Daniels (One Hour Photo, House of 1000 Corpses) and five time Daytime Emmy Award Winner Heather Tom (Young & The Restless).
Animal Among Us is a story about a monster. Fifteen years ago, two teenage girls were murdered at Merrymaker Campgrounds. The case was filed an animal attack, the camp was condemned and the killer never found- but something horrific still waits in those woods.
While the trailer isn’t available to the public yet, I did get a sneak peak and I can’t wait to see more. Animal Among Us looks to be a wildly entertaining creature feature.
