As part of Nintendo’s spotlight showcase, I was happy to hear that a long awaited series is coming back. Samus Aran is donning the suit once again in Metroid Prime 4, which will be rolling its way to the Nintendo Switch.
Fans of the series have been waiting a while for this. The last outing for Samus was back in 2007 on the Wii…and we’ll just sidestep Metroid Prime: Federation Force that came out on 3DS. Metroid Prime 4 will hopefully do to the series justice, like what the 2002 Gamecube version did. Hopefully it will bring the game into the modern era in a great way.
At present, Nintendo has kept extremely tight-lipped. We can only presume it’s still in development. We currently have no release date, screenshots or gameplay trailer. Stay tuned and we’ll keep you updated as more information becomes known about Samus’ next adventure.
