There was an awful lot to love about James Gunn’s out-of-this-world blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, from its unique opening credits, to the pop-tastic soundtrack. But the greatest moment of all for many, simply had to be the David Hasselhoff disco-rap he performs over the closing scrawl.
If you’re like us and you couldn’t get enough of The Hoff’s incredible body hair, and pompadour hair, then you’re in for a treat because he’s getting his very own full-length music video on the Blu-ray. That’s right, the former Baywatch icon, will reprise his ‘Guardians Inferno’ hit in the very special features section.
Gunn announced the thrilling news via his official Facebook page yesterday:
“I’ve been dying to announce this, because it may be the greatest thing I’ve ever worked on, but there’s video for “Guardians Inferno” – the song I wrote with Tyler Bates coming soon – you can see it when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits home video.”
Joining Hassellhoff will be polyester clad backing band The Sneepers, which consists of Karen Gillan, Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana and Michael Rooker. Vin Diesel or Bradley Cooper will also appear as the silver disco droid, though we’re not yet sure which.
We’re pretty sure you won’t find a more exciting news piece than this anywhere on the whole internet!
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 lands in stores on Planet Earth August 8th. But for now enjoy the dulcet tones of David Hasselhoff himself.
