Nostalgia is clearly the theme of the day over at SDCC 17, as Nickelodeon has unveiled another of its new projects, a Hey Arnold reboot movie titled Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie.

The never before seen panel included the series’ classic voice cast including Lane Toran (Arnold), Jamil Walker Smith (Gerald), Francesca Marie Smith (Helga), and Anndi McAfee (Phoebe), as well as cast of the TV movie—Mason Vale Cotton (Arnold) and Benjamin Flores, Jr. (Gerald). The show’s original creator Craig Bartlett was also present, as was Jim Lang, the man behind that iconic theme tune.

So, what about plot? Well, it’s been 13 years since we left Arnold, just moments away from finding out the truth about his parents. The final TV episode was supposed to set up a new movie – the franchises second – in which we would continue the football headed youngsters plight to find out the truth. But, fate was cruel to us that day as Nickelodeon pulled the plug on the movie and the character faded away into memory.

Well now he’s back, and we’re finally going to get the conclusion we always wanted.

You can check out the SDCC 17 teaser below, and catch the movie when Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie comes to Nickelodeon this November.
