Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical survival horror game that allows up to four players to try and escape a fifth player, acting as a killer. Since its launch, the creators have been having a bit of fun adding lots of DLC, most of which features famous horror icons. Killers who have either been added or announced include Michael Myers, Leatherface, and Freddy Krueger. Even with these names, I’ll have to admit that their newest announcement was still a bit unexpected.
Coming soon, players will be able to take control of Jigsaw from the Saw franchise. While details aren’t yet known, I would expect the Jigsaw Killer’s appearance to be a man in a hood and Jigsaw mask. Although, seeing the mascot chasing survivors on a tricycle and standing to hang them on little hooks would be downright amazing. There’s also no word on if Jigsaw will have a specific map, but the teaser does show a contraption going off via a timer, so perhaps a booby-trapped warehouse is in the works.
