Come this winter, the Fallout franchise finally goes multiplayer in the newest entry of the series, Fallout 76. Many fans are counting down the days until the game’s release, with John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” playing in their heads on an endless loop. But until Fallout 76 arrives, the most people are going to get for now are the sneak peeks and new trailers showcasing more and more of the game.
Fortunately, Bethesda has just released an all new trailer for the game, which was first shown at Gamescom. Now online, the trailer, called “A New American Dream,” doesn’t actually feature any in-game footage, as it’s done in the style of an animated, informational video with Vault Boy. While it doesn’t actually show clips from the game, however, it’s very informative, as it goes in-depth on explaining how the new Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform (C.A.M.P.) building system works.
As the video explains, you’ll be able to use C.A.M.P. to build the things you need, from food preparation to shelter. You can scavenge your resources or do it the “old fashioned way” by mining for raw materials. Continue expanding this way to turn your spot in the wasteland into your “home of the future.” You can watch the video below!
Initially, fans were leery when Fallout 76 was first announced. This game is very much unlike the others in the sense that it’s multiplayer-only and can only be played online. It seems that the more we see and hear about the game, however, the more the holdouts are warming up to it. There are some differences, sure, but it’s still Fallout, it’s just this time, we’ll be able to scavenge with our friends.
Fallout 76 will officially release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 14, 2018. The BETA will open prior to launch on an unspecified date. Stay tuned for more updates on the upcoming title, and we’ll see you in the wasteland.
