Friday the 13th The Game Roy Burns
Paramount Pictures

NECA will soon enough be bringing us an Ultimate Edition action figure of the greatest Jason cosplayer ever, Roy Burns. As revealed in the end of Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning, the killer is revealed to be Roy in a hockey mask, pretending to be the real Jason Voorhees. While not actually Jason, Roy is just as dangerous in his own right, stacking up a body count in the movie that was the higher than all of the Friday the 13th films to come before it.

Roy’s ensemble may have been directly inspired by Jason, but the man was incredibly creative when it came to his murders. All of the film’s many victims are killed in different ways. Ranging from a road flare to garden shears, Roy clearly liked to change things up when it came to each of his kills. Paying fine attention to this detail, NECA is incorporating Roy’s weaponry as accessories for their upcoming Ultimate Edition Roy Burns action figure.

In a new tweet, NECA has posted a peek at Roy’s weapons which will be included in the set. While not yet painted, we can clearly see what they have in store for us. This includes the spike used to impale Demon, the leather strap used to crush prankster Eddie’s skull, and the spike used to pin Matthew Letter to a tree. What’s missing here is the axe used to kill cocaine-fueled partiers Lana and Billy at the diner, although the weapon was already included with NECA’s Friday the 13th Part V Jason Voorhees action figure.

While we all love Jason, it’s nice to see the other antagonists from the Friday the 13th series getting love from NECA. In addition to this rad new Roy figure in the works, the company has also unveiled a zombie Mrs. Voorhees figure from Friday the 13th Part 3. Stay tuned for the full reveal of the Ultimate Edition Roy!
