Layers of Fear is a first-person psychedelic horror game that was released in 2016 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Linux. The game has players take on the role of a crazed painter who is trying desperately to finish his magnum opus, but keeps getting interrupted. Before he can finish his painting, players must explore an old Victoria mansion solving puzzles and finding crucial story pieces to see what has truly taken place. Throughout the house, nothing is quite what it seems…are terrifyingly supernatural occurrences really happening all around, or is psychosis getting the better of you?
