With his directorial debut filmĀ Get Out, Peele managed to score Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Picture, and even won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Needless to say, people have been anxious to see Peele’s next filmĀ Us, which will be hitting the big screen next month.
InĀ Us, another intriguing original concept is used to hook viewers immediately. Could you imagine going on a trip with your family, only to wind up as targets for a group of strangers? That’s scary enough, but what if the intruders were exact doubles for you and your other family members? Synopsis:Ā Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen to her family. Her worst fears soon become a realityĀ when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival.
