Jordan Peele has come a long way from Key & Peele in such a short time. Previously known best for sketch comedy, Peele has reinvented himself as one of the most talented modern filmmakers. With his directorial debut film Get Out, Peele managed to score Academy Award nominations for Best Director and Best Picture, and even won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Needless to say, people have been anxious to see Peele’s next film Us, which will be hitting the big screen next month.
In Us, another intriguing original concept is used to hook viewers immediately. Could you imagine going on a trip with your family, only to wind up as targets for a group of strangers? That’s scary enough, but what if the intruders were exact doubles for you and your other family members? Imagine not knowing who exactly they are or what they want, and all that’s clear is that they want to bring serious harm to your family.

Synopsis: Accompanied by her husband, son and daughter, Adelaide Wilson returns to the beachfront home where she grew up as a child. Haunted by a traumatic experience from the past, Adelaide grows increasingly concerned that something bad is going to happen to her family. Her worst fears soon become a reality when four masked strangers descend upon the house, forcing the Wilsons into a fight for survival. When the masks come off, each stranger takes the appearance of a different family member.
