A new teaser video has confirmed Ghost Face from the Scream franchise will soon arrive in the video game Dead by Daylight. The character was previously reported to be in the game after a leak, and the video officially confirms the killer’s inclusion. While it doesn’t show actual gameplay footage of the new playable killer, the full reveal of Ghost Face will come on May 31 at 3 p.m. EST on the Dead by Daylight channel on Twitch.
In the video, the familiar Scream killer is shopping for weapons at the local grocery store. Needless to say, things may not bode well for the unfortunate cashier tasked with ringing them up. By the end of the clip, we can get a good look at the Ghost Face killer, complete with the trademark white mask and black clothing. As far as which Ghost Face killer from the series is under the mask in the game, that will be up for you to decide.

Ghost Face is just the latest of many major horror movie characters to make it into Dead by Daylight. Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise was just recently added to the game as a playable survivor, using the voice and likeness of Bruce Campbell. Other characters to make it into the game so far include Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Michael Myers from Halloween, Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Jigsaw from the Saw series.
Almost every major horror franchise has now been tapped for Dead by Daylight, and it’s always interesting to see who will be coming to the game next. Find out more about Ghost Face when the character is fully revealed on May 31.
