To kick-off the E3 2019 festivities, Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) and partnering game companies Zoink Games, Glowmade, and Hazelight Studios announced three new projects.
Zoink Games, developer of the 2018 action-adventure video game Fe will next release Lost in Random. The game will offer a unique spin on puzzles and combat, having players solve puzzles to take down their enemies. The gameplay will “explore the notion of chance and possibility, set within a beautifully dark and vivid world.”
Another game announced is Glowmade’s EA Originals debut, RustHeart, which the development team says was inspired by “Iron Giant, ’80s movies, Rick and Morty.” The game will see players forge a friendship with a robot hero (again, think Iron Giant).
The third EA Originals game is Hazelight Studios’ follow up to the critically-acclaimed prison break co-op game, A Way Out. There were not a lot of details mentioned, but they are promising a whole new cooperative experience. Expect more details out at a later date.
