‘Rick and Morty’ Pickle Rick Cereal is Now a Thing

Funko / FYE

Funko is at it again with their awesome, must-have brands of pop culture cereal, as the company is now giving the most popular episode of Rick and Morty the breakfast cereal treatment. The latest addition to the Funko food line is Pickle Rick cereal, featuring the iconic character on the box. The O-shaped multigrain rings in the box are also pickle-green in color, but to be clear, they are not pickle-flavored.

The third episode of Rick and Morty‘s third season, “Pickle Rick” is by far among the most well-known installments of the series. In the hilarious episode, Rick the scientist intentionally turns himself into a talking pickle to avoid a family therapy session. One thing leads to another and “Pickle Rick” winds up on his most harrowing and dangerous adventure yet while in the form of a fermented cucumber. Featuring Danny Trejo and Susan Sarandon in guest roles, the episode won Rick and Morty its first Emmy in 2018 for Outstanding Animated Program.

Some of the other iconic pop culture characters to be given their own official cereal from Funko include Beetlejuice, Elvira, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Pennywise, and the ladies from The Golden Girls. As for the Pickle Rick cereal, it will of course come with a miniature Funko Pop! figure of the iconic Rick and Morty character, similar to the other releases. With a Sept. 20, 2019 shipping date listed, the cereal is exclusive to FYE, and you can pre-order a box for yourself now.  You can take a look at it below, courtesy of Funko.
