It’s that time of year once again for comic and pop culture fans in Colorado: Colorado Springs Comic Con returns for its fourth installment this weekend, August 23rd-25th. Located once again at the Chapel Hills Mall, the Colorado Springs Comic Con has moved locations to a larger venue, one previously occupied by a Sears department store. Fans attending this year can expect multiple comic, movie memorabilia, and toy vendors alongside celebrity guests from film, television, pro wrestling, and animation.

This year’s lineup of guests includes over thirty celebrities, seventy artists, and twenty cosplay guests. Celebrity guests include Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street). William Shatner (Star Trek), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2), Lance Henriksen (Alien, The Terminator), Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3), Kevin Nash (former WWF and WCW World Champion, The Punisher), Booker T (5-time WCW World Champion) Emily Kinney (The Walking Dead, The Flash) and Henry Simmons (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D). Among the comic book artists this year are Graham Nolan, Kevin Nowlan, Renee Witterstaetter, Russ Rainbolt, Mike Zeck, and one of the co-creators of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Kevin Eastman!

Per usual, photos and autographs will be available from all guests. Panels this year include a Terminator panel with Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen, and Kristanna Loken (sadly, Edward Furlong had to pull out of this year’s Con), a William Shatner Q&A, Kevin Eastman talking TMNT, My Hero Academia, Space Ghost: Coast to Colorado with George Lowe, The Walking Dead, Star Wars, multiple Power Rangers Q & As, and the big weekend closer, Welcome to Freddy’s World: A Nightmare on Elm Street Reunion with Robert Englund and Amanda Wyss (Tina Gray in NOES).

In addition to the various guests and panels, there will be a free screening of the sci-fi/action movie Jurassic Thunder, followed by a Q & A with the film’s crew. There will also be gaming tournaments, an escape room, speed dating, a tattoo pavilion, and a kids con. And of course, tons of cool merch to blow your entire paycheck on.

Colorado Springs Comic Con runs from Friday, August 23rd through Sunday, August 25th. Tickets are currently on sale through the event’s website at www.cscomiccon.com starting at $25 for adults and $10 for kids between the ages of six and twelve or can be purchased on site. VIP passes, photo ops, and autographs are also available on the website or at the venue.
