Full Moon Features today launched the live production for their upcoming soft erotica sci-fi film, Femalien: Cosmic Crush. Viewers can tune into the livestream via their website, DeadlyTen.com, every day of shooting for behind-the-scenes content. Femalien: Cosmic Crush is part of the Deadly Ten series, which are ten new and original Full Moon feature films.
When we spoke to Charles Band last year about the Deadly Ten films, he explained, “people can be involved with the production, they can visit the set virtually, it’s going to be something fun that is more than just us making movies.” And went on to say, “the movies are going to be a great array of sequels to franchises people love.” The first title in the Femalien series was released in 1996, and has gone down as one of the more memorable eroticas for horror fans.
Now, writer and director Lindsey Schmitz is bringing all of the sexy sci-fi excitement back with Cosmic Crush.
Synopsis: ‘Femalien: Cosmic Crush’ is an amped-up update of the original Surrender Cinema series and stars Kira Noir as Maxy Prime who, with her feisty feline sidekick, Gabby Ginx, arrive on a dark and distant planet to investigate a diabolical plot. There they discover a mad(ly hot) professor, Dara’Tel Quenthosz, and her students, Marion Ovudo and Pim Danamorrah, in the psychosexual grips of the Thanagarian Pleasure Pod, a mega-parasite who’s giving everyone good vibrations while slowly and seductively sapping them of their very life essence. Will the Femaliens put an end to this tentacle terror, or will they succumb to the beast’s cosmic crush?
In addition to the livestream, Horror Geek Life will be on location during much of the production, bringing even more exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage.
Femalien: Cosmic Crush is expected to be released in early 2020 on Amazon and the Full Moon Features app.
