The announcements for Texas Frightmare Weekend 2020 are in full swing, with each one just as exciting as the last. The horror convention takes place May 1-3 at the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport in Dallas, Texas. This year will mark Texas Frightmare Weekend’s fifteenth year anniversary.
The newest special guest to be announced is the man, the legend…Tom Atkins! From Texas Frightmare:
Tom starred in two films directed by John Carpenter: ‘The Fog’ and ‘Escape from New York’. He then had a leading role in ‘Halloween III: Season of the Witc’h. He worked with George A. Romero on ‘Creepshow’, ‘Two Evil Eyes’ and ‘Bruiser’. He also portrayed Detective Ray Cameron in the 1986 cult horror film ‘Night of the Creeps’, a role Atkins calls his very favorite.
They have also unveiled their official 2020 poster by artist Timothy Pittides. It is presented as a 20″ x 30″, 6 color screen print, and printed on Wild Cherry Red paper. The poster has a limited edition of only 130, and each will be hand-numbered and can be signed for free by the artist at his TFW 2020 booth. The poster is available at the event ONLY.
