‘Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid’ Hits Xbox Game Pass

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid via nWay Games

It’s time for Xbox Game Pass subscribers to suit up as their favorite Power Rangers in the fighting game Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, as the title is among one of two brand new additions added to the Game Pass service. In addition to Battle for the Grid, gamers with Game Pass will also now be able to download the comedy adventure game Astrologaster, which looks like something fun to check out as well. After all, both titles are now free to play for subscribers, so why not download both?

Releasing last year, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is a fighting game akin to Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. The game features a wide variety of playable Rangers from the franchise to use, including the beloved originals from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. In the game, players pick teams of three for one-on-one combat matches, and they’re given the ability to swap out their fighters at any time in the round. Victory comes when one team successfully eliminates all three fighters on the other team. Of course, Megazords are also present in all their glory in the game, as players can call upon them for special maneuvers to use against their opponents.

You can check out both games right now on Xbox Game Pass, and you can watch the official trailers for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid and Astrologaster below!

Synopsis: Generations of Power Rangers collide across the multiverse’s 25 year history. Experience authentic, but re-imagined Power Rangers gameplay. This easy to learn, but hard to master fighting game is designed to welcome players of all skill levels.

Synopsis: Astrologaster is a story-driven astrological comedy game set in Shakespeare’s London. Take on the role of the notorious Doctor Simon Forman and use Astrology to treat his patients. Will you win their favour or ruin their lives?
