Ash vs. Evil Dead starĀ Dana DeLorenzo will be returning to the role of Kelly Maxwell in Evil Dead: The Game. In December, the upcoming video game was officially announced with a reveal trailer, givingĀ Evil Dead fans a look at some of the characters that will be included. Kelly was one of the four playable survivors shown in the clip, though it wasn’t clear if DeLorenzo would be lending her voice to the game.

Now, DeLorenzo has confirmed that she’ll be featured inĀ Evil Dead: The Game with a post on Twitter. “It’s official: I’ll be voicing Kelly Maxwell in @EvilDeadTheGame,” the tweet reads. “Get the deli slicers and F-[bombs] ready, because I’m gonna kick some serious Deadite ass in 2021! You’re gonna need another wooden hand…”
Hopefully, this also means that other fan favorites fromĀ Ash vs. Evil Dead will also be included. Pablo wasn’t shown in the reveal trailer, but you can’t have the “Ghost Beaters” without him. Here’s to hoping Ray Santiago is next to reveal that he’ll be voicing Pablo in the game as well.

Evil Dead: The Game will be a multiplayer game offering both co-op and PvP modes. Bruce Campbell lends his likeness and voice to Ash Williams for the game, and the door is wide open for other characters from the entire franchise to appear. Multiple maps based on the different movies will be included along with all kinds of Easter eggs and references to the films.
āIām excited to be strapping on the chainsaw one more time,ā Campbell said of the game’s announcement. āBoss Team and Saber Interactive are planning a huge immersive dealio, and I knew I had to come back. Youāll be able to step into my shoes and kick some Deadite ass!ā
