Virtual Event: ‘What Happens Next Will Scare You’ Screening on June 11th

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT WILL SCARE YOU

On Friday, June 11th, Midnight Crew Studios and Cinematic Void will host a special sneak preview of writer/director Chris LaMartina’s new film, What Happens Next Will Scare You.

What Happens Next Will Scare You, the highly anticipated follow-up to Midnight Crew’s modern cult classic, WNUF Halloween Special, will air as part of Cinematic Void’s online film screening series, Cinematic Void Up All Night (accessible at cinematicvoid.com/midnight). Fans will be able to see the film, in only its third public screening, fully uncut and uninterrupted, ahead of its traditional release. The evening will conclude with a Q&A featuring LaMartina and WHNWSY co-writer/producer Jimmy George, hosted by Cinematic Void founder Jim Branscome.

Synopsis: Staying late in their office, a motley crew of clickbait writers are watching the top thirteen scariest viral videos in preparation for a Halloween listicle. When an early entry curses whoever watches the cryptic link, our snarky hipsters must distinguish fact from fiction before a tidal wave of terrifying supernatural activity leads to real-life murders.

The screening starts at 8:30 PM PST on Friday, June 11th at cinematicvoid.com/midnight.

Cinematic Void is a monthly party of cinemadness at the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles. While The Void gears back up toward hosting post-pandemic in-person screenings later this summer as part of the Cinematheque’s re-opening slate, the online bi-monthly spin-off series Cinematic Void Up All Night continues to allow cult film fans from all over the world to experience Cinematic Void first hand and interact live with one another from their homes.
