Life is Strange: Remastered Collection and Life is Strange: True Colors are coming to the Nintendo Switch. Life is Strange: True Colors will be launching on September 10th, 2021, while Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will be coming a little later this year.

Worms Rumble is wriggling its way onto the Switch later this month. For two weeks following the launch, Switch players can get an exclusive Patchwork Bear outfit when they buy the game. Worms Rumble will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 28th, 2021.

Astria Ascending is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 30th, 2021.

The next installment in the Two Point series, Two Point: Campus, is bringing all the fun of building a university to the Nintendo Switch in 2022.

This year marks Super Monkey Ball’s 20th Anniversary. To celebrate, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is launching for the Nintendo Switch on October 5th, 2021.

Mario Party Superstars is the sequel to the hit game Super Mario Party. Acting as a ‘best of’ collection, Superstars will feature 5 classic boards from the N64 era including “Peach’s Birthday Cake” and “Space Land.” Also, for the first time in the series, Mario Party Superstars will launch with online play supported from day one. Mario Party Superstars comes exclusively to Switch on October 29th, and pre-orders open today.

Nintendo brought up Metroid Prime 4, teasing that it’s still in development, but they have nothing to show today. However, a new Metroid entry is coming: Metroid Dread. Metroid Dread will be the first 2D Metroid game in 19 years and is coming to the Nintendo Switch on October 8th, 2021. Additionally, Metroid Dread Amiibos are releasing alongside the game for Samus and E.M.M.I., a robot shown in the trailer.

On Nintendo’s Treehouse segment, we got a closer look at the game, including gameplay as well as some new and returning gameplay mechanics. Carried over and improved upon from Metroid: Samus Returns, the titular character is once again able to use free aim as well as the melee counter. New to the game is a useful mechanic called melee dash, allowing the player to dash through oncoming enemies with a damaging attack. The tracking system will allow players to track enemies, and when one is targeted a distinct sound will play.

Finally, we got to see some combat against the previously mentioned robotic E.M.M.I., which seems to serve as a real threat to players as Samus’ regular arsenal isn’t enough to take it down. A hit from it will be an instakill. Metroid Dread is a sequel to Metroid: Fusion and will launch on October 8th, 2021, on the Nintendo Switch. The Metroid Dread segment from Nintendo Treehouse can be watched here!

Just Dance 2022 is still coming to the Switch on November 4, 2021.

Mario Golf Super Rush is launching on June 25th, with pre-orders open now. Additionally, Nintendo has committed to free updates planned in the future for additional releases including new courses and characters.

Monster Hunter 2: Wings of Ruin launches on the Switch on July 9th, but until then a free demo will be available starting on June 25th. When the game launches next month all your save data will carry over.

A new WarioWare game is finally on the way. Combine your demon allies to create bigger and better demons. Shin Megami Tensei V will be exclusive to Switch and released on November 12th, 2021. Physical edition pre-orders begin on June 21st, 2021.

The popular game series Danganronpa celebrates it’s 10-year anniversary with a new collection, releasing on the Nintendo Switch later this year. With Danganronpa Decadence, players will have access to the three mainline games: Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, as well as a brand new standalone version of the board game featured in Killing Harmony. All four games will be available separately on the Nintendo eShop, while the collection will be a physical release exclusive. There will also be a Collectors Edition available containing the game, posters, a remix of the soundtrack all packaged within a collectors box.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’s Expansion Pass is available now for $19.99.

We got a refresher on the The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword remaster that’s coming next month. The game takes players back to the beginning and depicts how it all began. Skyward Sword will take advantage of the Nintendo Switch’s Joy Cons with motion control support, but will also be playable in button mode. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword launches July 16th.

A new Legend of Zelda Game and Watch version was shown off. Read more about it here!

Finally, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. Still not a whole lot was shown off, but we got some cinematic footage. The setting of the game has been expanded to include the skies above Hyrule, with Link seemingly freefalling through the world. The footage also shows Link traversing this familiar terrain and using his weapons and abilities to overcome obstacles and enemies. Nintendo says they’re aiming for a 2022 release date, and to have patience as more will be shown off in the future.

And that concluded Nintendo’s E3 Direct. We got a lot of looks at games previously announced, as well as some looks at new reveals that are sure to excite some gamers. Did you enjoy Nintendo’s conference? What was your favorite reveal or announcement?
