
Netflix and Mattel Television revealed the new trailer for the upcoming MOTU revival, Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Kevin Smith is the showrunner and executive producer for the animated series, which will be available exclusively on Netflix. Part one is set to premiere on Friday, July 23, 2021.

Synopsis: The war for Eternia culminates in Masters of the Universe: Revelation, an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off decades ago. After a cataclysmic battle between He-Man and Skeletor, Eternia is fractured and the Guardians of Grayskull are scattered. And after decades of secrets tore them apart, it’s up to Teela to reunite the broken band of heroes, and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to restore Eternia and prevent the end of the universe.
The Masters of the Universe: Revelation cast includes Mark Hamill as Skeletor, Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela, Stephen Root as Cringer, Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops, original Skeletor Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Man, Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena, Justin Long as Roboto, Jason Mewes as Stinkor, Tony Todd as Scare Glow, and Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man.
Along with the trailer, Netflix also announced the additions of Dennis Haysbert (Lucifer, 24) as King Grayskull, Adam Gifford (Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, The Last of Us: Part II ) as Vikor, and and Jay Tavare (Bone Tomahawk, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain) as Wundar.
