After a year of absolute silence from Traveller’s Tales, Gamescom 2021 finally gave us news regarding LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga gameplay, mechanics, and its release window.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be Traveller’s Tales and Warner Bros. Games’ biggest and most ambitious LEGO game yet. It will adapt all nine mainline Star Wars movies, with five levels per movie (a total of 40 levels). The game will have hundreds of playable characters and full-voice acting.
We got a decent look at the gameplay and some of the game mechanics like blaster battles, the world map, jetpacks, updated character models, and more. The Gamescom footage showcased iconic scenes from movies such as Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga now has a brand new release window of Spring 2022, a full year after the last release window of Spring 2021. When the Skywalker Saga launches next spring, it will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
