Little Caesars apparently wants to keep fans of the Dark Knight well-fed ahead of The Batman‘s release in theaters. The pizza maker has just announced a one-of-a-kind specialty item that combines the calzone with the pizza, but in the shape of a bat. The bat-shaped snack features a “tantalizing flavor profile of buttery-tasting, calzone crust filled with garlic white sauce, cheese, and julienned pepperoni, combined with a pepperoni pizza and served with a side of Crazy Sauce.”
The Crazy Calzony was first introduced by Little Caesars in August 2021 for a limited time, becoming one of the pizzeria’s most popular offerings. There will certainly be many customers . It is now available for purchase from Little Caesars for the price of $7.99.
“Anyone can now bring superhero vibes to pizza night by trying the new The Batman Calzony,” said Jeff Klein, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars. “It’s the most delicious part of our partnership with the upcoming film The Batman.”
It’s not surprising to see companies like Little Caesars getting on on the hype leading up to the release of The Batman. The film is clearly one of the year’s most anticipated releases, and now Little Caesars is the only pizza restaurant that’s currently a part of The Batman conversation.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves. It stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne, set in a standalone universe that’s unconnected to the DCEU. The film also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald “Penguin” Cobblepot.
It’s been a long time coming, but fans will finally be able to check out The Batman when the film is released in theaters on March 4, 2022.
