‘Jurassic World Dominion’ Gets Nostalgic in an Action-Packed Trailer

Universal Pictures

This summer, the “Jurassic era” is coming to a conclusion with Jurassic World Dominion. The film is going big not only on the action but throwbacks to the film that started it all, 1993’s Jurassic Park.

The new trailer for Jurassic World Dominion brings a happy surprise for fans as original cast members Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill join in on the action. They will star alongside Jurassic World co-stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, reprising their roles as Owen and Claire, respectively. The film’s other returning cast includes BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu, Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Dr. Zia Rodriguez, and Omar Sy as Barry Sembenè. Also joining the Dominion cast are DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari), and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2).

Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.
