During PlayStation’s State of Play 2022, it was announced that Horizon: Forbidden West is receiving a big update with many things fans have asked for. The update, that’s out now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, adds:
- Performance Mode will improve digital fidelity on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
- Transmog allows players to change the appearance of gear without losing any of those sweet stats.
- Skill Point Redistribution
- Ultra-Hard Difficulty
- The much anticipated New Game+ mode will allow players to replay the game while keeping all their gear from the previous playthrough.
Again, this update for Horizon: Forbidden West is out today on both consoles, so it’s a perfect time to jump back in.
The world of Horizon is also getting the VR treatment with Horizon: Call of the Mountain, an entirely VR game set in the Horizon universe that’ll be exclusive to PSVR2. The game will be a launch title for the upcoming PlayStation VR 2, but no launch window has been revealed yet.
