To celebrate the upcoming release of Rob Zombie’s The Munsters, NECA has unveiled figures of the main cast. The family-friendly, PG-rated film is based on the much-beloved original show The Munsters, which ran from 1964-1966 and produced 70 episodes.

The film stars Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa, Richard Brake as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang, and Sylvester McCoy as Igor. Also appearing in The Munsters is Cassandra Peterson (AKA Elvira) playing a real estate agent, horror legend Dee Wallace as the voice of Good Morning Transylvania, and original series cast members Pat Priest, who played Marilyn Munster, and Butch Patrick, who played the young Eddie Munster.

The characters getting immortalized from NECA are Lily Munster, Herman Munster, and Grandpa. From the company:

Have fun with these little Munster Monsters! From Rob Zombie’s The Munsters, this “little big head” tribute set includes Herman, Lily, and The Count, each measuring between 5 and 6 inches tall. Comes in window box packaging that is an homage to the classic 1960s toy appearances.

NECA plans to ship the figures in October 2022, which is when The Munsters is expected to release. However, an official release date or month has been announced. To check out more images, visit the official NECA page.

Last month, Universal Pictures released a teaser trailer recreating The Munsters’ iconic opening in black and white. Among the questions fans have been asking is if the movie will be in black and white or color. The Munsters has been presented in both over the years. Considering the end of the teaser trailer transitions into “living color” as the trio sits awkwardly on their couch, it seems in color it is.

Check out the new teaser trailer below, and be sure to check out our interview with Grandpa himself, Daniel Roebuck, here!
